HERE THEN, ARE THE LATEST FABRIC TRENDS FOR WINTER 2011:

Whether you are interested in fashion or décor it’s always a great idea to check in with what the latest fabric trends are for each season. This way, if you are planning on revamping, refurbishing or redecorating one or more of your rooms, you have a better idea of what available, and what’s en vogue!
Here then, are the latest fabric trends for winter 2011:
In terms of colour, look for nature inspired colours. Berry purples, chocolate browns, teal or ocean greens and bamboo (formerly known as camel) are very popular, as well as all the metallics metal tones. Combining staple neutrals with pops of bright colours is the way to go, and don’t forget that this season is all about mix and matching textures and prints!
As far as prints are concerned, we see that the Boho French Parisienne influence is still the flavour of the season so look out for nostalgic French inspired prints!
Nautical and pyjama stripes are a must for upholstery, wall papers or even drapes. We see the stripe being used for a very chic and somewhat vintage look.
